Joan Parker, PT, DPT

Lead Physical Therapist

Joan graduated from UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas with a bachelors degree in Rehabilitation Counseling in 2003. She then worked hard to complete graduate school at Texas Woman’s University and graduated with a Doctorate degree in physical Therapy in 2010.

Since graduating Joan has exclusively worked in the field of pediatric physical therapy in a variety of settings including: home health, early intervention, and outpatient.

Joan recently received specialized training in the field of torticollis and idiopathic toe walking. She enjoys working with a variety of age groups from infants to young adults with various neuromuscular, developmental, and musculoskeletal diagnoses. Joan travels annually with a volunteer group, Propel DR, to teach and treat among other healthcare professional in under-privileged areas. Joan enjoys spending time with her family, doing yoga, cycling, reading, and taking her dog to the dog park.
